On an annual basis, Irma Starr brings her unique techniques 12,000 miles from her studio in Kansas City to Sri Lanka. This special destination is her 'home away from home' as it is the only place where a selected number of her ornaments and ceramic works of art are reproduced with detailed precision and accuracy.

Under the close eye of Irma and her design team, she provides detailed instructions on combing, feathering, marbeling and slip trailing of her 17th Century English Slipware pottery.

Ultimately, this trip to Sri Lanka brings Irma's works to thousands of dedicated fans and museum shops around the world.
