Oz Collection

Welcome to my handmade Oz Collection. Please join me in the heart of Kansas, the land of Dorothy, the Wizard, the Good Witch and the long red pointy fingers of the wonderfully Wicked Witch. Each year I love adding a few characters to Dorothy’s Wonderful Wizard of Oz family. And I know you will find one that makes you happy.

My handmade slipwear pieces are few and only to be found at The Nelson Atkins Museum of Art, at Hall’s Crown Center in Kansas City, and select leading museum shops.

I hope you enjoy this collection  just like I do, and feel free to contact me if you have any questions about these unique pieces.

This handmade piece features Dorothy’s house being dropped on the wicked witch by the tornado.
Irma in Action:

Working with the Oz design, Irma demonstrates the technique in which she squeezes a thin stream of colored clay onto a ceramic pot. More than three centuries ago, artisans used 85 different slipware patterns to decorate their work.
